COLOMBO, Sri Lanka, August 14, 2025 (ePRESS) – President Anura Kumara Dissanayake met senior leaders of Vietnam’s ROX Group at the Presidential Secretariat to discuss large-scale investment opportunities in Sri Lanka.
The delegation was led by Tran Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Advisory Board of ROX Group and Chairman of the Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB). The group praised Sri Lanka’s current stability and favourable investment climate, expressing strong confidence in moving forward with significant projects.
ROX Group representatives said they were keen to establish an industrial zone and explore ventures in renewable energy and real estate. They noted that their visit aimed to identify suitable land and secure the necessary institutional support for these initiatives.
President Dissanayake assured full government backing for foreign investors, stressing that Sri Lanka now operates in a corruption-free environment. He welcomed the group’s interest, highlighting the government’s commitment to creating conditions for sustainable economic growth.
