Samson Trading opens dedicated TVS showroom in Malabe

COLOMBO, June 8 (ePRESS) – Samson Trading Company (Pvt) Ltd., a member of the DSI Samson Group, has officially entered Sri Lanka’s growing two-wheeler automotive market by opening a new TVS showroom in Malabe in partnership with TVS Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., marking a major expansion of its business operations beyond its traditional sectors.

The new showroom, which opened on May 23, is dedicated exclusively to TVS motorcycles and scooters and offers customers a complete range of TVS two-wheelers available in Sri Lanka. The move strengthens Samson Trading Company’s position as a trusted retail and distribution partner while expanding its presence into the automotive industry.

The showroom features some of TVS’s most popular models, including the TVS Ronin, TVS Apache RTR series, TVS Raider, TVS Ntorq 125, TVS Jupiter, TVS Sport and TVS XL100.

The opening ceremony was attended by senior officials from TVS Lanka, Samson Trading Company and the DSI Samson Group. Among those present were Thusitha Rajapaksha, Managing Director of D. Samson and Sons (Pvt) Ltd.; Pradeep Samarathunga, General Manager of D. Samson and Sons (Pvt) Ltd.; Asanka Rajapaksha, Managing Director of Samson Trading Company (Pvt) Ltd.; Geethal Anthony, Chief Executive Officer of TVS Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.; and Malaka Vehalla, Assistant General Manager – Sales of TVS Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.

Speaking at the event, Asanka Rajapaksha said the showroom represents an important milestone for Samson Trading Company as it broadens its business portfolio.

“With a proud history of 47 years, we have built a strong reputation based on trust and reliability. Through this partnership with TVS Lanka, we aim to provide customers with a modern retail experience supported by high service standards and our long-standing commitment to customer satisfaction,” he said.

Rajapaksha noted that the collaboration would help bring globally recognised TVS products closer to customers while ensuring convenient access to sales and after-sales services.

TVS Lanka Chief Executive Officer Geethal Anthony said the company continues to strengthen its islandwide presence through partnerships that improve customer accessibility.
