COLOMBO, Sri Lanka, August 3, 2025 (ePRESS) – CEAT, the top-selling tyre brand in Sri Lanka, has once again proven its dominance by being named the country’s Most Valuable Tyre Brand for 2025, according to the latest Brand Finance Lanka rankings.
The report, released by Brand Finance – a leading global brand valuation consultancy – shows CEAT’s brand value has increased by 15% to reach Rs 2.325 billion, placing it 44th among Sri Lanka’s 100 most valuable brands this year.
CEAT also earned a place among the country’s strongest consumer brands. It was ranked 6th overall with a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 83.3 out of 100, and maintained its AAA- rating – a top-level rating held by only a few elite brands in Sri Lanka.
On the global stage, CEAT is ranked as the eighth strongest tyre brand in the world, reflecting its international reputation for quality and innovation.
CEAT Kelani Holdings Managing Director Ravi Dadlani said the recognition was the result of hard work, clear strategy and continuous innovation.
“To remain Sri Lanka’s most valuable tyre brand, and among the top ten strongest consumer brands, is a tribute to the strength of our products, our people, and our vision,” Dadlani said.
“It shows the trust our consumers place in us and our focus on performance, discipline and customer experience.”
CEAT’s success comes despite rising competition in the tyre market, proving its ability to lead under pressure. The brand enjoys 100% awareness among Sri Lankan consumers surveyed – a clear sign of its strong presence and trust.
The company sells over 1.2 million tyres every year across several categories, keeping its grip on the local market while also maintaining a strong international footprint in over 110 countries, including Europe and the US.
A major part of CEAT’s momentum in 2025 comes from its strategic 360-degree marketing campaign aimed at “premiumising” its car radial tyre range. The campaign highlights its German Engineered 15-inch and above tyres that promise better control and comfort, supported by wide media visibility including TV, digital, outdoor, press, cinema, and in-store branding.
To support this premium image, CEAT has launched a network of high-end retail outlets across Sri Lanka, improving customer experience and raising service standards.
Founded in 1996, Brand Finance is known globally for its independent and in-depth brand valuations. CEAT’s top ranking for 2025 confirms it remains a brand in top gear.
