COLOMBO, August 30, 2025 (ePRESS) – The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has released its annual publication, Economic and Social Statistics of Sri Lanka – 2025, making it available online for public access.
The release contains long series of socio-economic data presented in an easy-to-download format, aimed at meeting the needs of researchers, policymakers, businesses, and the public.
Compiled by the Statistics Department of the Central Bank, the publication covers eight major areas: National Output, Expenditure and Income; Economic and Social Infrastructure; Prices, Wages and Employment; External Trade and Finance; Government Finance; Money, Interest Rates and Capital Markets; Financial Sector Performance; and Sri Lanka and the Rest of the World.
Each category includes detailed statistical tables that offer valuable information for those interested in the country’s economy and social trends.
The CBSL said the latest updates are now accessible through its official website at www.cbsl.gov.lk
