COLOMBO, Sept 8, 2025 (ePRESS) – LankaPay.lk, the official website of Sri Lanka’s National Payment Network, won two top honours at the BestWeb.lk Awards 2025, highlighting its growing digital excellence.
The site secured the Gold Award for the Most Popular Corporate Website and the Silver Award for Best Corporate Website at the ceremony held on August 27 at Monarch Imperial, Colombo. The event, organized by the LK Domain Registry, brought together the nation’s leading corporates and digital innovators.
The recognition comes just one year after LankaPay fully revamped its website in 2024. The redesign introduced a modern, user-friendly look and became the first corporate website in Sri Lanka to meet global Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2). This ensures inclusivity for all users, including those with disabilities.
Other features of the new site include seamless browsing across devices, a live social media wall, a dynamic events calendar, and enriched content through blogs and newsletters on digital payments.

The redesign was developed by Ogilvy MarTech Solutions, whose work in enhancing user interfaces and experiences (UI & UX) was key in securing this recognition.
