Abans Solar delivers 385 kW plant for CIC’s Mahawa complex

MAHAWA, Sri Lanka, August 29, 2025 (ePRESS) – Sri Lanka’s leading solar solutions provider, Abans Solar, has successfully completed a 385.27 kW solar installation at CIC Agri (Pvt) Ltd’s Mahawa Seed Factory, marking the largest solar project undertaken by CIC to date.

The factory, a state-of-the-art milling complex spread across 16 acres, is a key part of CIC’s agricultural operations. The new solar system is a major step towards the company’s sustainability goals of switching to renewable energy and improving energy efficiency.
