COLOMBO, January 12, Monday (ePRESS) – Grassroots tennis in Sri Lanka received a major boost as the Janaka Bogollagama Memorial Cool Tennis All Island Inter-School Kids Play Day 2025, organised by the Sri Lanka Tennis Association, got strong corporate backing at the SLTA Headquarters in Colombo, bringing together more than 1,100 young players from 215 school teams in one of the country’s biggest junior tennis initiatives.
The long-running development tournament, which began this year and will continue until January 2026, is designed to introduce children to competitive tennis through Red Ball, Orange Ball and Green Ball formats, creating a fun, safe and structured pathway for young players across the island.
Bogollagama & Co. (Pvt) Ltd stepped in as the Main Sponsor. YETI (Pvt) Ltd joined as the Co-Sponsor, while Amcom (Pvt) Ltd came on board as the Ball Sponsor. Perera & Sons Bakers (Pvt) Ltd partnered the event as the Food and Development Partner.
