COLOMBO, September 3, 2025 (ePRESS) – Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has launched the Sri Lankan chapter of its Bybit Rising Fund initiative in partnership with Ceylon Cash, the force behind Web3Ceylon — the country’s largest community-led blockchain education program.
The collaboration aims to boost Web3 literacy and empower the next generation of Sri Lankan talent to take part in the fast-growing digital economy.
Through Web3Ceylon, Bybit and Ceylon Cash will conduct a series of educational seminars across four cities — Galle on September 17, Colombo on September 20, Kandy on September 28, and Ella on October 12. These sessions will introduce blockchain concepts, cryptocurrencies, and on-chain security to newcomers, students, researchers, and creators.
The program is designed to connect local learners and builders with global experts, ensuring Sri Lanka’s youth gain access to knowledge and tools needed for a blockchain-enabled future.
“At Bybit, we believe education is the first step toward building a sustainable Web3 future. Sri Lanka’s vibrant youth and entrepreneurial spirit make it an ideal place to nurture the next generation of blockchain innovators,” said Nazar Tymoshchuk, Regional Manager at Bybit.
He added that through this partnership with Ceylon Cash and Web3Ceylon, Bybit hopes to equip young Sri Lankans with the skills and opportunities to take part confidently in the global Web3 ecosystem.
