COLOMBO, Sri Lanka, August 14, 2025 (ePRESS) – The Chamber of Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE), together with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), has launched the 2025 Sri Lankan Corporate Health & Productivity Awards (SLCHPA) at Shangri-La Colombo.
The awards ceremony will take place on February 11 in Colombo, with Sampath Bank as the Principal Sponsor.
Now in its third year, SLCHPA honours Sri Lankan companies that promote employee wellbeing, workplace sustainability, and productivity excellence. This year, JETRO joins as a strategic partner, bringing international benchmarking, expertise, and global best practices to the programme.
COYLE Chairman Manjula Wijesundera said the SLCHPA was “a movement to inspire organisations to take proactive steps towards better workplace health and holistic productivity,” adding that a balanced lifestyle leads to a happy family life. He also expressed hopes to expand the awards to include the public sector in the future.
The awards align with COYLE’s mission to create better employment environments in Sri Lanka, ensuring that companies put people at the centre of growth strategies.
Organising Committee Chair Mihiru Perera urged corporate leaders to “step up and show the way,” noting that recognition should come not just for products and services but for how companies treat their people.
Participation in SLCHPA offers tangible benefits, including stronger employer branding, higher employee engagement, and leadership in sustainable workforce management.
Applications can be downloaded from www.slchpa.com, with submissions closing on October 31, 2025.
