COLOMBO, Sri Lanka, August 12 (ePRESS) – Global electronics giant KONKA has officially entered the Sri Lankan market, appointing FLiCo Network, a member of the Future Life Holdings Group, as its main distributor.
In a move to connect with local consumers, KONKA has named Sri Lanka’s cricket captain Chamari Atapattu and national team spinner Maheesh Theekshana as brand ambassadors.
KONKA, a brand with over 45 years of history, is introducing a range of smart TVs featuring TV OS, Web OS, and Google TV OS in sizes from 32 to 65 inches. All models come with an integrated soundbar delivering 30 watts of total output for clear, powerful audio across movies, sports, news, music, and gaming.
The product lineup also includes refrigerators from mini to two-door models, microwave ovens, gas and electric cookers, fans, and more — all at competitive prices.
Speaking at the launch at the Taj Samudra Hotel, Future Life Holdings CEO Danushka Udugama said the company aims to secure a place among Sri Lanka’s top five electrical and electronic appliance brands within three years.
“We are targeting Rs. 10 billion in sales revenue for 2027/28 and Rs. 20 billion in cumulative sales within three years,” Udugama said, adding that the growth strategy will focus on aggressive marketing, strong brand presence, and enhanced customer service.
