Lankapak 2025 set to showcase South Asia’s packaging industry in October

COLOMBO, Sept 4, 2025 (ePRESS) – The 26th edition of South Asia’s premier packaging, processing, printing, plastics and paper exhibition, Lankapak 2025, will be held from October 23 to 25 at the BMICH, organizers announced.

The event is organized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Packaging in collaboration with CDC Events, with support from both government and private sector partners. Over the years, Lankapak has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated showcases, bringing together the entire packaging value chain.

This year’s edition is expected to be bigger and more diverse, underlining the rising importance of packaging across industries. More than 100 companies will exhibit across 150 stalls, covering packaging machinery and materials, processing, printing, labeling, sustainable packaging innovations and solutions.

Foreign exhibitors from China, Pakistan, India, Maldives and other South Asian nations will join, reinforcing Lankapak’s role as a regional hub for trade and collaboration.

The exhibition is expected to draw exporters, traders, procurement officers, retailers, distributors, hoteliers, caterers and buyer delegations from across the region and beyond.

In addition to the main exhibition, leading companies will host daily presentations to highlight the latest trends, technologies and innovations shaping the industry.

A special Packaging Clinic by experts from the Sri Lanka Institute of Packaging will also run throughout the event, offering professional advice and guidance to visitors.
