NEGOMBO, Sri Lanka, August 27, 2025 (ePRESS) – The Omega Line Toastmasters Club began a new chapter with the installation of its 2025/26 Executive Committee at a ceremony held at Jetwing Blue, Negombo, under the theme “Ignite the Legacy.”
The event brought together distinguished guests including TM Felix Fernando, Charter President of the club and CEO/Managing Director of Omega Line Ltd, Chief Guest Dr. Riyad Ismail, and Guest of Honour DTM Niroshan Nadarajah, District Director of District 82, along with several Toastmasters leaders.
Outgoing President TM Rashmi Fernando praised the club’s members for their dedication. “We are delighted with the positive contribution that the Omega Line Toastmasters Club has made to the development of communication and leadership talents. Their commitment has brought the club many accolades since its inception,” she said.
Backed by Omega Line Ltd, Sri Lanka’s top apparel exporter to Europe, the club has achieved the prestigious President’s Distinguished Club status twelve times and the Golden Club Award five times.
The evening also celebrated the club’s fifth Golden Gavel Award for 2024/25 and the 8-80 Award for exceptional member retention, reinforcing its standing as one of the most decorated Toastmasters clubs in Sri Lanka.
