COLOMBO, August 31, 2025 (ePRESS) – Shangri-La Colombo is inviting diners on a rare culinary journey this September, where the artistry of Chinese cuisine meets the soulful flavours of Myanmar.
From September 5 to 14, the hotel’s Central Restaurant will transform into a vibrant dining stage, offering an exclusive dinner buffet from 6.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.
The festival will feature international chefs – Chef Su Machang and Chef Jasen from China, and Chef San Myint Lwin from Myanmar – who will craft each dish with authentic flavours, bringing the true spirit of their homelands to Colombo.
The Chinese & Myanmar Food Festival is more than a dinner. It is a cultural journey expressed through taste, spice and artistry, hosted within the elegant surrounds of Central Restaurant. It reflects Shangri-La’s promise of refined hospitality and extraordinary global flavours.
