The Skål Sustainable Tourism Awards are a globally respected platform, showcasing best practices in sustainable travel. This year, 106 entries across eight categories were reviewed by international experts in tourism and sustainability. Winners were selected through a strict evaluation process overseen by Skål International and verified by senior auditors. Hayleys Leisure received the award at the Opening Ceremony of the 84th Skål World Congress held in Cusco, Peru, where global tourism leaders gathered to celebrate innovation and responsibility in the industry.
Alongside the recognition, Hayleys Leisure will gain support from key strategic partners. Biosphere Tourism and the Responsible Tourism Institute will provide a one-year subscription to the Biosphere Sustainable platform, strengthening the Group’s long-term sustainability planning. Sustainable Travel International will offer a one-year Guardian-level membership, further connecting Hayleys Leisure with the global sustainable travel community.
