BENGALURU, India: (ePRESS) – Sri Lanka’s Adithya Weerasinghe posted a three-over-par 75 in the third round of the IGU All India Junior Golf Championship at the Karnataka Golf Association in Bengaluru, India, leaving him in 16th place with a total score of 224.
Despite a challenging day, Weerasinghe remains in contention for a strong finish in the final round. His round included a mix of good shots and some difficult moments, but he will look to build on his performance and improve on the final day.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s Reshan Algama struggled throughout the round, dropping to 23rd place. His performance did not improve as hoped, leaving him with a lot to work on before the final round.
In the top positions, India’s Angad Singh continued his excellent form in Category A, maintaining his lead with a remarkable gross score of 214. Singh’s consistent play has made him the favorite heading into the final round, with a clear advantage over the field.
In Category B, Haryana’s Kartik Singh dominated the competition, finishing the third round with a remarkable 204, giving him a strong lead in the standings.
Sri Lanka’s Thejas Rathis Kanth faced a tough round, finishing in 20th place with a gross score of 245. Despite the setback, he will aim to bounce back in the final round and improve his position.
