COLOMBO, Sri Lanka, April 22, 2025 (ePRESS) – Sri Lanka’s junior golf star, Reshan Algama, has earned a Wild Card entry to represent his country at the Nick Faldo Asia Grand Final 2025, set to take place from April 22 to 25 at Laguna Golf Lang Co in Vietnam.
This special invitation was extended to Reshan after a series of impressive performances both in Sri Lanka and internationally throughout 2024 and early 2025. His consistency, skill, and determination have earned him recognition from the Faldo Series selection committee, who praised his potential and commitment to the sport.
Currently ranked 723rd in the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR), Reshan’s participation in the event was confirmed following his success in the local Faldo Series qualifier, held under the guidance of the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC), where he is a valued member. His entry into this four-day event comes after his breakthrough international win in the United Arab Emirates recently, which has boosted his confidence and fueled his ambition in the international course.
