Havelocks Sports Club, led by former Royal College hooker Azmir Fajudeen, is geared up to open the tournament against Sri Lanka Air Force, captained by lock forward Parakrama Ratnayake. The showdown is scheduled to take place at Havelock Park on December 1.
The rugby excitement continues the following day as Clifford Cup runners-up Navy, under the leadership of former Kingswoodian and full back Thilina Weerasinghe, will go head-to-head against the Sri Lanka Police team led by Mohan Wimalaratne.
Simultaneously on the same day, Clifford Cup champions CR and FC, guided by third-row forward Soyuru Anthony, are set for a challenging match against the Sri Lanka Army team led by fly half Ashan Bandara at the Army grounds in Panagoda.
The competition intensifies on Sunday, December 3, as defending champions Kandy Sports Club will take the field at Nittawela. Led by centre Lavanga Perera, Kandy SC is set to face off against CH and FC captained by Avantha Lee.
