Maliban named title sponsor of Sri Lanka–Australia U19 Women’s Series 2025

COLOMBO, September 19 (ePRESS) – Maliban, one of Sri Lanka’s most respected confectionary brands, was officially welcomed by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) as the Team Sponsor of the Sri Lanka Under-19 Women’s team for the upcoming Australia U19 Women’s Tour of Sri Lanka.

The partnership goes beyond team sponsorship, with Maliban also taking up the role of title sponsor. The series will be known as the “Maliban Sri Lanka vs Australia U19 Women’s Series 2025.”

The six-match series, to be played at the RDICS in Dambulla, will feature five T20s on September 20, 21, 24, 26, and 28, followed by a Youth ODI on September 30. All matches will be open to the public free of charge and streamed live on Sri Lanka Cricket YouTube and Talent TV.

“This is an all-important series, giving our young cricketers international exposure. We are extremely happy to welcome Maliban onboard. Women’s cricket is gaining popularity not only in Sri Lanka but across the world, and we are confident this partnership will add value to both parties,” said Upul Nawaratne Bandara, Head of Marketing, SLC.
