MAHARAGAMA Dec 22, Fri: The much-awaited climax of the 18th MUNCHEE National Super League Volleyball Championship organized by Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation and proudly sponsored by MUNCHEE, the flagship brand of Ceylon Biscuit Limited, is on the horizon, set to commence this Sunday at 1 PM at the National Youth Services Centre Indoor Stadium in Maharagama.
In the Men’s final at 3 PM, Sri Lanka Army will clash with Ceylon Electricity Board, promising an intense showdown. The Women’s final at 1 PM will see defending champions Sri Lanka Air Force battling it out against Sri Lanka Army, adding an extra layer of excitement for fans.
The race for the Men’s third-place position kicks off at 10 AM, featuring a face-off between Sri Lanka Ports Authority and Sri Lanka Police. It’s worth noting that the Girls’ Third Place match concluded a fortnight ago in Galle, where Hidaramani emerged victorious against Sri Lanka Navy.
The grand awards ceremony, marking MUNCHEE’s generous sponsorship for a remarkable 18th consecutive time, will be graced by Ceylon Biscuits Limited Chief Operations Officer Daham Gunasena and Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation President Kanchana Jayaratne.
