COLOMBO: (ePRESS) – Nine leading schools are set to compete in the second annual National Age Group Water Polo League Tournament, organized by the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union (SLASU), to be held at the Air Force Swimming Pool Complex in Ratmalana on August 17 and 18, starting at 8:30 AM.
The boys’ teams include defending champions Royal College, DS Senanayake College, Wesley College, Thurstan College and Nalanda College. The girls’ teams are Visakha Vidyalaya, Bishop’s College, Gateway College, and Musaeus College.
The two-day tournament will feature matches in three age groups: Under-13, Under-15, and Under-19. Notably absent this year are S Thomas’ College and Ladies’ College, two top water polo schools, due to their August vacation.
