KANDY: (ePRESS) – Tharindu Wickramasinghe was named the Overall Winner for the second month in a row at the Victoria Golf Resort’s May Monthly Medal event. This tournament was part of the Lectra Grand Prix, powered by Apparel Technologies, and it took place at the Victoria Golf Resorts in Digana.
Wickramasinghe earned the Overall Winner title for hitting the Longest Drive. As a reward, he received a cash prize and a one-night stay at the Victoria Golf Resort.
Manjula Chanrasoma was recognized for being the Nearest To The Pin, and Jade Jiggens emerged as the Nett Winner for the Ladies.
In the Gents Category, Derrick Ponnambalum claimed the title of Nett Winner, while Nadeshan Krishnakumar secured the position of Nett Runner-up.
Rudrani Devidas was celebrated as the Lagies’ Gross Winner, while Nirwan Hettiarachchi took home the title of Gents Gross Winner. Stephan Bateman finished as the Gents Gross Runner-up.
